On 13th October 2012 thirty cyclists left Axminster in Devon and rode 769 miles to the Slow Food Salone del Gusto festival in Turin, Italy, in memory of Philippa Corbin. We rode to raise awareness of depression and raise funds for two charities.

In total there are 28 riders and 4 support crew taking part in this adventure to Turin.  Ages of cyclists range from from 24 to 73 and include a doctor, a preserve maker, a vet, some gardeners, a cameraman, a couple of geoscientists and a beatboxing vicar.

Day Cyclists

On day one of our journey we have an extra handful of people coming from all over the country to cycle with us for 60 miles from Axminster to Swanage and see us on our way. This may not be cycling over the Alps, but the hills on the back roads of Dorset are certainly not to be sniffed at.
